Wine Travel Writing with Jess Lander
This interview with Jess, a wine and travel writer with the San Francisco Chronicle covers how she came to the area and went from being a sports writer to one of the main wine writers at a newspaper that is famous for this department. The interview is conducted by Ralph DeAmicis was Recorded at the Wright Corner Gallery, Los Carneros Napa. For many years there were a handful of winery tasting rooms in the downtown, but some great city planning changed the dynamics and now it the place to be and taste wine at about forty tasting rooms, including cooperative places and single labels.

Tour Guide Portrait with Artist Kerry Smith
This is a two part portrait. In the first we discuss her rescue of a historic building in the Los Carneros district of Napa, her process, trials and successes, and the politics surrounding doing anything in an area dominated by a powerful agricultural preserve, that does not encourage businesses that are not wineries, even though they need them, and visitors love them. It is a story of vision, bravery, determination and perseverance.

The Sonoma Plaza
